Ita bag + more!

Hi doll! Long time no see Sorry for the radio silence for the whole of last month, I've got nothing against September as a month, I was just really busy with life I feel terrible for neglecting my blog for an entire month, but at least I'm here now.

Anyways enough of all that!!!!!! I came back to show you what I've been working on.

First off, I made an ita bag. Yes, I crocheted it!

An ita bag is a bag, usually with a clear sheet for people to display merch like pins, photocard and plushies of their favourite character or idol. I made this ita bag of my oc, pudding chan, because I adore her :3

This is probably my crochet project yet. When making the bag, I wanted to go for a yellow bag and a brown cover, so it sorta looks like a pudding (you see the vision? OwO) I didn't want it to be too complicated so I made it relatively simple. Besides the insert, you can put small stuff in the back, I made it that way because I don't plan to carry a lot with me if I were to go out with this. I opted for a button instead of using zippers cuz um idk how to do that

Here's what the bag looks like without the insert

The insert is actually some cardboard with fabric glued onto the back of it. It works pretty well!

Now as for the merch...? Um not much at the moment All I have is a photocard I drew of pudding chan and a keychain of her name. In the future, I'll definitely make more of her: like pins, more photocards and a plushie :D I'm looking into those things right now, especially the plushie. Crocheting plushes are lots of fun but I really wanna get into actual plush making one day

A closer look at the ribbons I've attached. I'm glad I finally got to use this pink ribbon that's been collecting dust in my cabinet for months

Anddddd this what it looks when u wear it!

Pretty cute right? If you ignore how naked it looks without any cool merch Eeeek!!! I can't wait to finally rock this outside one day >:D

Moving on, I HAVE A SEWING MACHINE!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yes u read that right! I finally got one, a few months ago actually. It's so cool and pretty and pink and I LOVE HER SO MUCHHH!!! I gave her a name to, it's Betsey, named after Betsey Johnson cuz she's my fave designer :)

So sewing itself has been challenging for me :( I'm having a tough time aligning the seam line of my fabric with the needle(?) so it ends up sewing the stitches not on the line I've markedI think it's a skill issue on my part, so I need to practise. Plus sewing is kinda scary actually, I'm either worried I'll break it somehow or accidentally sew my finger 0_o

For now, I'm working on a top. It's going to match the skirt I made, the skirt that I posted here. So far it hasn't been good. The fabric I'm working with is soo annoying it keeps fraying and keeps curling up no matter how much I iron the damn thing. I've been putting it off recently.

I hope to improve soon becuz I NEED to git gud so I'll make plushies

Back to crochet: I went on a school trip to the Oceanarium. I was HYPED for it, to the point I made a jellyfish hat to wear so I can let everybody know how much of a loser I am >O<  On top of that, I brought my old spongebob bag with me, with a jellyfish keychain attached to it. The bag is pretty old actually, I got it for my 2nd birthday from my dad's friend, but it's still in good condition.

Now you must be wondering about the photos I took? Well the thing is, the school didn't let us bring our phones there. Which is a bunch of BULLSHIT!!! When I was in sec 2, they let us use our phones for a field trip back then. Parents complained but they insisted. So yeah, I couldn't take any photos of the cool animals I saw :( It sucks so much man because I saw a lot.

There were sharks, sting rays, manta rays, dolphins, starfish, krill and schools of stupid looking fishes lmao. We even got a chance to see how corals were grown behind the scenes. But obviously the real stars were the jellies! I saw sea nettles, fried egg jellyfishes, and white spotted jellyfishes.

But the most breathtaking sight was the huge circular window of hundreds of moon jellies. They were so graceful and beautiful. I didn't want to leave at all, if I could, I would stare at them all day. The way they pulsate through the waters, all of them moving rhythmically. I wish we stayed there longer, I wish I could've taken photos to capture everything.

The Oceanarium, it was actually called the SEA Aquarium a few years ago and I went there when I was younger. They've basically rebranded it, though they do have some of the old stuff still like that big cylindrical fish tank. I did notice it was bigger though. They had some exhibits about fossils as well as conservation focused exhibits. But there was some digital stuff too? Those didn't really interest me and it's pretty obvious they added that to spend less money on actual fish tanks.

This is how the hat looks on me btw hehe :P

Previously I made post about my hairclip collection. After that, I got more cute clips and hair ties.

They were a birthday gift from my mother, I love them
