I used to collect a lot of them when I was younger and I got back into it 2 years ago~~
Right now, I keep all of my precious hairclips in this neat jewelry box that was a gift from a friend for my 17th birthday this year.
It consists of a top and bottom compartment. The top one can be locked by a tiny little key but I don't use it cuz I don't have anything to hide ¯\_(ใ)_/¯
Here's what it looks like fully opened:
And this is the top part:
Second thing you'll notice is that the upper sections are quite lacking... Mostly red, orange, yellow and green. I reserved a space next to the light blue clips because that was supposed to be the dark blue clips. And as you can clearly see: I don't have any!!
So yeah that's a bummer, but it's alright cuz I can always keep collecting.
I've got a variety of colouful hair ties but they're not as cool as my clips. However, here are some of my fave ones! From left to right we have these pom-poms, bows, hibiscus flowers, translucent bows, a pretty teal coloured coiled hair tie and these silly green m&m hair ties. I love m&ms :D
The rainbow order I used was: Red, orange, yellow, green, light blue, (non-existent) dark blue, purple, light pink, hot pink, brown, white and black,
Here are all my clips laid out:
IT LOOKS PRETTY ALL LAID OUT LIKE THIS AAA!!!!
Each hair clip has it's own story to it (sounds corny I know but it's true). Some I bought at random stores and stalls. Some were gifts from my friends. And some were made by yours truly!
Over here you can see the hair clips that I made. From left to right we have my cinnamoroll crochet clips. They're super fluffy and kyute~
It's an important staple to my cinnamoroll co*de (basically my outfit of all the cinnamoroll stuff I own. I love that lil guy) Next, we have this pink kirby clip. The clip itself I crocheted all around but kirby himself is made of air dry clay! Well I got the clay from Daiso and the packaging said it was polymer clay but it ended up being air dry clay.
The clay is nice though! Next we have a miffy and a flower hair clip. They're both black and white; I made them one night when I realised I didn't have a lot of black hair clips. Maybe I should do the same with other colours?
I have some star clips as well but I keep them separate from the others, placing them in the second layer of the box. I don't have that many colours as of now...
Here are some kandi bracelets along with a crochet choker. I made a TON of kandi bracelet but I used a very shitty clear elastic cord so most of the bracelets broke. But now I use this very nice fabric wrapped elastic cord which is LEAGUES better than what I was using!
I highly recommend it over the clear ones because they're slippery and the knots you tied may cone undone. Right now, I'm still remaking the bracelets </3
Bonus! This is my most favourite hair clip! It's this lovely, big, pink bow. I bought it when I went back to my home country last year. I simply adore it, I like to clip it to a ponytail or my clothes to accessorise! .gif)

Omg? I love your collection so much!! I also really like hairclips, though I don't own many (being a guy i don't often feel safe wearing them in public!). Love the kirby one a lot :D !!
